Today was my only day off work in a ten day period and I get called in this evening because some bitch phoned in “sick”. Not only is my whole day ruined but it fucked with my gym preparation, I had no focus and consequently my workout was terrible, almost worth not bothering, almost.
After a bit of stressful travelling at work and hardly any food today combined with the heat I feel like shit but you know what, I’m going to hit the gym anyway. Just gave myself a little prep talk along the lines of “man up, don’t be a lazy bastard, you know you’ll regret it” and it’s done the trick. Off now. Good day.

So apparently Sony will soon unveil another scaled down ps3. It’s rumoured to have a base price of £99 so if that true expect this to shift a lot of units. A quality blu-ray player, gaming and streaming in one box for under £100 is very appealing. I’d rather they focused on the ps4 (maybe they still are) but if this allows them to increase profits (god knows they need to after remarkable losses) then I won’t complain. I may even pick one up myself for the upcoming Sony exclusive titles.

Just seen the film Sunshine. What can I say, simply brilliant. The crew had believability and humanity about them which you don’t see a lot, especially in the sci-fi genre. The suspense just kept going up a notch, it was well paced and the general aesthetics gave the setting a real authenticity to it. There seems to be a huge divide regarding the third act but it didn’t ruin the film for me. Could it have done without pinbacker, sure, but let’s not be knit-picky. I strongly feel this film can stand comfortably with the greats of the sci-fi genre.
